The route called "The old Polish castle off-season" combines a guided tour of the Welcome to the Castle route, presenting the history of Pieskowa Skała, with an individual sightseeing of the exhibition "Old Polish Culture" located in the rooms of the ground floor, in the crypt and in the chapel of St. Michael. Visitors can get acquainted with the culture of the Polish nobility and aristocracy by viewing the unique genealogical gallery of Prince Sapieha family, consisting of 72 portraits. The gallery tells the story of importance, power and connections of one of the most important families in old Poland.. Other exhibits are i.e. silk sashes and jewellery buttons, for fastening rich clothes. The crypt exhibits four excellent pewter sarcophagi of the Sieniawski family with life-size figures in armor placed on lids. The late baroque altar decorated with a scene of an angel orchestra draws attention in the chapel.
